At the end of the day this list was created by the players who actually play against these players so for me that's the highest level of credibility that you can actually have.... So I don't think the list is flawed at all I believe it's more flawed when the media actually has their say so about it..

The top 100 isnt objective. It isnt handed down by god. Its just interesting (for some) to see who the players recognize among their peers as the best. Its information, and shifting the format away from the feedback of players would diminish the quality of that information.
